You and I been talking about combat for a long time! Let’s see. We’ve got the archive system that EverQuest II had. Like I’ve said, we’ve gone through lots of exercises to make sure that every class feels and plays differently. The classes have complexity in them, but that’s another thing. Did this experiment work? No, it didn’t, we’ve got to change. Some of the classes have changed fundamentally because the initial thing didn’t work. It’s easy to say “you tank the best�. If you want to say that the Sorcerer does the most damage of anyone than that’s how you feel different. Our approach is harder, but I think that ultimately it’s going to pay off better because you’ll have situations where you’re forming a group and you won’t need specific classes – you need somebody from an archetype. There are lots more people out there playing Paladins and Dread Knights than there are playing just Warriors.</div></td></tr></table></ul>

DAs hab ich mir heute morgen beim Frühstücken durchgelesen, sehr lesenwert und macht wirklich Lust auf mehr. Freu mich schon :lol:

Das beste Feature, auf das ich schon seit Ultima Online warte, ist das zusammenarbeiten bei Spells um die Effektivität zu erhöhen. Zwei Zauberer die zusammen an einem gigantischen Feuerball arbeiten (als Beispiel).

ich bin nicht nur auf soclhe sachen gespannt, denn ob es da dann auch einen visuellen großartigen effekt geben wird, ist auch noch fraglich.

ich crafte zwar nicht viel, bin hin und wieder dann doch mal irgendwie ein wenig dabei und da bin ich gespannt was die daraus noch machen werden.

Einen visuellen Effekt muss es für mich garnicht haben. Allein die Tatsache das man zusammenarbeiten kann fehlt bisher jedem MMORPG. WoW hat einen Spell bei dem mehrere Leute aus der Umgebung beitragen müssen, das war ein Anfang.

Beim craften konnte mich bisher kein Spiel überzeugen. Es war immer monoton und langweilig.
