In truth, they are more like events that reward you with medals. The quests serve only to reliably award the medals for successful completion of the events. So, relatively short (I'm not sure exactly, but if pressed I'd guess around 20-30 minutes to complete), relatively difficult (it's all base 6 dots atm but we'll tweak as necessary when people start trying them) repeatable events that grant X Lucent Medals where X is a variable determined by how well you complete the event itself.

TBD is the number of medals required to purchase items from the final outfitter.
